David Walliams lost his contract with longtime publisher.
Best-selling writer for children and TV personality David Walliams has been dropped by his UK book publisher, as confirmed by the firm.
A representative for the firm commented: "Following a thorough review, and following the appointment of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing future works by David Walliams."

A Prolific Writing Journey
Walliams ranks among Britain's most prolific writers for young readers, boasting over over six tens of millions of copies worldwide in 55 languages.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins in 2008.
A number of his titles, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have found new life as TV movies.
He has published more than 40 books altogether, including a festive story named *Santa & Son*, which came out under HarperCollins last autumn.
A Dual Career
His career breakthrough occurred on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has also won National Television Awards for his role as a panelist on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He received an OBE several years ago for his services to the charitable sector and arts community.
The publisher's decision comes after the appointment of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's freshly installed boss in October.
